Resident Review Board
Applications for the NEUROSURGERY Publications Resident Review Board will be accepted from January 3, 2022 through February 6, 2022.
NEUROSURGERY Publications is currently seeking neurosurgical residents with an interest in scholarly publishing and academic neurosurgery to join the NEUROSURGERY Publications Resident Review Board. The purpose of the Resident Review Board is to increase engagement between senior neurosurgical residents and academic publishing, specifically through the peer review process.
Resident Review Board members will be mentored by leaders in academic neurosurgery on how to critically examine manuscripts and write quality peer reviews. Additionally, members of the Resident Review Board will have the opportunity to publish commentaries for the articles they review for Neurosurgery, Operative Neurosurgery, and Neurosurgery Open.
If you have an interest in becoming a member of the Resident Review Board, please review the program overview document prior to submitting the online application (due February 6, 2022). Once your application is submitted, you will receive information on how to submit the mock peer review.
